On the Road with Tony Roswarski

Whether it’s by car or by foot, getting where you need to go, safely and efficiently, is making giant strides forward under the leadership of Mayor Tony Roswarski.

26 East and Creasy Lane
"It is so much better!"
and
"What a difference!"
are just a few of the responses to the intersection improvements at State Road 26 East and Creasy Lane. An expanded intersection, additional turn lanes, more signage, and lane markers. These improvements to one of the most congested intersections have greatly enhanced traffic flow.

Greenbush Improvements
Greenbush Street
Widened, Beautified. Greenbush Street from Sagamore Parkway to Creasy Lane is another traffic and neighborhood enhancement project. Residents are benefiting from new traffic lanes, improved traffic flow, an added traffic light and landscaped medians. A trail was also added along Greenbush, connecting to Munger Park.

Park East Boulevard Park East Boulevard
Extended. The newest throughway completed is a .65-mile, four-lane  extension of Park East Boulveard, now connecting State Road 26 East and McCarty Lane. This new north/south artery relieves traffic on State Road 26 East and Creasy Lane, and it opens up development for the new Cascada Business Park.

Brady Lane
Widened. Safety and traffic flow were again the top priority with the widening and enhancements along Brady Lane.

18th and Kossuth
Reconfigured. Improved traffic flow, safety and beautification were achieved with reconfiguration of the heavily traveled intersection of 18th and Kossuth streets. The project was paid for with hazardous-elimination funds.

We Love New Sidewalks! For those who enjoy a neighborhood stroll, miles of new curbs and sidewalks have been installed in numerous areas throughout the city. And many new streetlights have been added, too.
